CMA Small Systems AB has implemented an Automated Clearing House at the National Bank of Cambodia. The implementation is done within the National Payment System Development Plan being realized by NBC with the assistance of the Asian Development Bank. The new centralized ACH system based on CMA’s BCS/X solution has replaced cheques clearing operations of the regional NBC clearing centers and enabled same-day cheques, and electronic funds transfers processing.
During the project, all participant banks have built STP interfaces to the new ACH system to guarantee transferring of customers’ funds from one bank to another within the same day throughout Cambodia.
This system is designed to include the latest technology standards for high security to ensure safety and enhance the effectiveness of the processing and delivery of interbank clearing and settlement services.
