Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan
About
Azerbaijan, Baku
As a part of the project for modernization of the payment and financial infrastructure of Azerbaijan, in 2004, the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan put into operation the Low-Value Payment Clearing and Settlement System (LVPCSS). The solution was built using CMA's BCS/X solution. In 2011 LVPCSS was updated to become compatible with the new national accounts numbering system.
In 2015 Central Bank launched a new Real Time Gross Settlement System. The system integrates more than 50 commercial banks of Azerbaijan. CBA engaged CMA to replace its old RTGS supplied by CGI (Logica) with the new CMA's system RTS\X. The new RTGS system improves the functional facilities of the Bulk Clearing and Settlement System and creates corresponding infrastructure for specified payment systems at New Disaster Recovery Centre.
